Cresswell Associates is a specialist consultancy providing environmental services to the planning, construction and development industries. The practice was founded in May 1995, by Dr Warren Cresswell and Dr Stephanie Wray, and incorporated as a private limited company, Cresswell Associates (Environmental Consultants) Limited, in 1999. Our work encompasses all disciplines of ecology, nature conservation and biodiversity. We also undertake surveys and assessments and provide advice on soil, land use, hydrological and sustainable drainage issues.

Cresswell Associates has carried out over 900 environmental projects since its inception. Our clients include government departments, local authorities, consulting engineers, minerals companies, the water industry, chartered surveyors, planning consultants, construction companies, national utilities, landscape architects and other environmental consultants. We have experience in the co-ordination and production of environmental appraisals, impact assessments and the ecological, soil science, hydrological and land use input to Environmental Statements, and have skills in environmental auditing and management systems.

Our head office is in Gloucestershire and we have undertaken projects throughout the UK and in parts of Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. Cresswell Associates is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Our staff are qualified to post-graduate or post-doctoral level and are members of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
