Staff

Our staff are our greatest resource and we
have built up a very strong team covering
all disciplines of ecology, environmental
management, hydrology, soil and
geomorphological issues. Our current
permanent staff comprises over thirty
qualified ecologists/environmental
scientists at different grades, supported by
technical and administrative staff. Our
numbers are increased during the summer
months when we offer a graduate training and
placement scheme on protected species.
The two Directors of the practice are Dr
Stephanie Wray and Dr Warren Cresswell.
Warren Cresswell's professional career has
encompassed research, teaching and
consultancy. He is a highly-qualified
ecologist, and has carried out ecological
evaluations, impact assessments and research
for a wide range of clients in both the
public and private sectors. He is
experienced in all aspects of the theory and
practice of EIA, and is particularly
experienced in the survey and assessment of,
and mitigation for, rare and protected
species. He has presented evidence with
regard to the likely impacts of developments
at Public Inquiries concerning industrial,
housing, leisure and transport developments.
Dr Cresswell has a BSc (first class) in
Biology from the University of London and a
PhD in Ecology from the University of
Bristol.
Stephanie Wray has worked as a professional
environmental scientist since 1988. Dr
